Pauline Vu, DDS
Dr. Pauline Vu has called New York home for almost all of her life, having grown up on the south shore of Long Island, and at one point or another, lived in every borough of New York City. She left New York for a four year stint to obtain her Bachelor of Arts degree at Wellesley College in Massachusetts, majoring in Biology and minoring in Art History. During this period of time, she was afforded the luxury of exposure to many different fields of study and interest, finally landing on Dentistry to fulfill her lifelong desire of contributing to the community via healthcare.
Yielding to the irresistible call of New York City, she matriculated at New York University College of Dentistry, where she obtained her Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2009. She then further completed her General Practice Residency at Montefiore Hospital, where she was afforded the opportunity for exposure to the many specialties of dentistry, and finding her niche in General Dentistry and Cosmetics.
During her years as a dentist, Dr. Vu has been exploring and furthering her knowledge within the dental field, pursuing advanced training in Cosmetic and Laser Dentistry. She is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and an Associate Fellow of the World Laser Clinical Institute. She also served on the medical staff as one of the Team Dentists for the Brooklyn Nets during the 2016-2022 seasons. During her tenure there, she enjoyed working behind the scenes of a large and reputable sports organization.
Dr. Vu and her partner Dr. Andrew Sarowitz established The Chelsea Dental Group in 2014, and continues to enjoy serving her community with compassionate and honest dental healthcare. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, jazz piano, painting, and spending time with her dynamo French Bulldog pup, Jelly. She speaks both English and Vietnamese.
